Clearwater Industries manufactures horizontal and vertical stationary water clarifiers.
Our vertical High Compaction Clarifiers have a comparatively small footprint and achieve solids discharge of +65% solids by weight. The solids material typically dewaters in days and is often conveyed as it leaves the clarifier. The clarifiers feature a high torque electrically driven rake, slick coat interior surfaces, and a sixty-degree cone bottom.
Our horizontal or rectangular clarifiers treat low solids inflows such as surface waters or precipitated solids. These are often used in cooling tower makeup water, reverse osmosis pretreatment, stormwater, and industrial precipitation applications.
STATIONARY CLARIFIERS
Clearwater Industries’ line of high compaction clarifiers produces 50-70% solids by weight underflow and continuous clean water overflow.
The units feature a robust design involving only two moving parts. The first is a high torque electrically driven rake, which ensures homogeneous sludge. The second is a pinch valve that works with bed level sensors to control sludge discharge.
All of our high compaction clarifiers feature a 60-degree cone bottom and slick coated interior surfaces.

We have a wide range of existing designs that may serve as the perfect backbone to your needs, and we’re happy to start from scratch for your new to market ideas. Two examples of historic custom clarifiers are the CW2000HC and CW4000HC clarifiers pictured below.
The CW2000HC clarifier features two tanks each measuring 11′ in diameter and 28′ in overall height. It is capable of clarifying a nominal flow rate of 2000 GPM of process water.
The CW4000HC clarifier features four tanks each measuring 11′ in diameter and 28′ in overall height. It is capable of clarifying a nominal flow rate of 4000 GPM of process water.
