Clearwater Industries manufactures both horizontal and vertical stationary water clarifiers.  Our horizontal, or rectangular, clarifiers are used to treat low solids inflows such as surface waters or precipitated solids.  These are often used in cooling tower makeup water, reverse osmosis pretreatment, and industrial precipitation applications.

Our Line of High Compaction Clarifiers feature a high torque electrically driven rake, slick coat interior surfaces, and a sixty-degree cone bottom.  These are among the design features that enable our systems to achieve solids discharge upwards of 65% solids by weight.  This material typically dewaters in a matter of days and is often conveyed as it leaves the clarifier.

The CW1000HC clarifier measures 11′ in diameter and 32′ in overall height.  It is capable of clarifying a nominal flow rate of 1000 GPM of process water.

Clearwater Industries line of high compaction clarifiers features an elegant design involving only two moving parts.  The first is a high torque electrically driven rake, which ensures homogeneous sludge.  The second is a pinch valve that works with bed level sensors to control sludge discharge.   These clarifiers consistently produce 60%-70% solids by weight and continuous clean water discharge.  All of our high compaction clarifiers feature a 60-degree cone bottom and slick coated interior surfaces.

The CW6000HC clarifier measures 35.6′ in diameter and 56.5′ in overall height.  It is capable of clarifying a nominal flow rate of 6000 GPM of process water.

The CW3000 rectangular stationary clarifier measures 59.5′ long and 17′ in overall height.  It is capable of clarifying a nominal flow rate of 3000 GPM of process water.  It features a screw conveyor that measures 50′ long and 24″ in diameter.  This conveyor brings the settled solids to a central flange from where it can be pumped.

The CW3500 rectangular stationary clarifier can handle a nominal flow rate of 3500 GPM.  It uses a 25 HP motor with a gear reducer to drive flight conveyors.  C102B chain and flights allow 1,800 lbs of force to pull solids up and out of the machine.  Overflow from two separators provides process water into the floc chamber.  Underflow solids are discharged at the end of the machine.  Clean water overflows weirs at the end of the clarifier and is returned to the process.  An M-Series polymer system is incorporated into the unit.  PLC controls are housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure with a disconnect.

This stationary clarifier is designed to treat low solids inflows, such as surface waters or precipitated solids. These units are tremendous workhorses in cooling tower makeup water, reverse osmosis pretreatment, and industrial precipitation applications.
