Equipment - Model 800 Polymer Metering and Injection System
The Clearwater Industries Model 800 Polymer Metering and Injection System
is designed to make down either dry or emulsion polymers that will rapidly
settle suspended solids out of wastewater. The Model 800 features an 1650-gallon
aging tank, which allows for 100 pounds per hour of dry polymer to be made
down. This system is ideal for:
- Flocking solids out quickly in the first settling pond
- Flocking solids
out in Large Clarifiers and Thickeners
- Thicken solids in Belt Presses
Features:
- Can be "up and running" 1 hour after unloading
- Solution without
the formation of "fish-eyes"
- Stainless steel 200 lb. Hopper (Big
Bag Hopper optional)
- Variable speed screw feeder with solid shaft auger
- Low water pressure
protection
- Fully automatic, continuous batching operation
- One progressive cavity
polymer disbursement pump. Variable speed pump drive with 4-20 mA inputs.
Maximum pump delivery is 30 gpm
- Tank is constructed of rugged 3/4" polypropylene
triple welded inside and out and is capable of holding 1650 gallons of
solution
- 3" square steel framework painted with aliphatic urethane epoxy
paint, which yields a high chemically resistant finish that fades little
under UV rays
- One tank design with internal baffle and weir is a simple
design that assures proper mixing and aging of polymer
- Hand/Off/Auto switches
provide manual or automatic sequencing
Optional Features:
- Allen Bradley Panel View display allows the controller push button controlling
options
- Monitec Auto Floc Controller adjusts polymer dosage depending on
solid content in wastewater
- Multi-gang manifold allows polymer solution
to be pumped to several different locations
- Remote speed pot allows controller
to adjust polymer pump speeds while away from the unit

Utilities:
- One point electrical hook-up, 460/230 volt 3-phase
